Job Profile Summary:
The Planning Technologist, working under general supervision, is responsible for assisting the Planner in coordinating all activities associated with the Asset and Execution Plan and maintaining data for integrated plans and schedules. The role also maintains and updates planning documentation while fostering effective working connections and contributing to team goals.

Job Description:
•    Coordinate with other teams/departments to retrieve, collect, load, prepare, process, and manipulate data.
•    Provide variance analysis against plan, well cost duration models, and key performance indicators.
•    Support the execution team by reporting progress and variances to plan.
•    Suppors in-depth program evaluations by providing performance metrics.
•    Maintain and update planning documentation, reports, and forecasting models, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders. Work under general supervision with high attention to details and establishes influential relationships with internal stakeholders, cultivating effective working connections.
•    Develop a thorough understanding of planning, recommend modifications, and communicate effectively, sharing knowledge and actively identifying opportunities for data quality improvement.
•    Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and complete assignments, contributing to collaborative, goal-oriented team efforts.
Education:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Science or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.
Experience:
•    1+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Engineering Technologist, Business Planning, Project Planning and Execution or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
•    Experience with Actenum (DSO), Mosaic, PowerBI, and/or Spotfire is a plus
