The position
By joining our team in Exploration & Production International you will have the opportunity to:
• Construct and update reservoir simulation models, in close cooperation with geomodellers;
• Perform dynamic uncertainty analysis and history matching;
• Optimize the drainage strategy and cooperate with G&G, production technology, as well as the facility group and economic analysis;
• Follow-up of external studies (PVT, SCAL etc);
• Evaluate the impact of new technologies and IOR initiatives on the recoverable volumes of the asset;
• Participate in planning of, and to ensure an optimal data acquisition program in development and appraisal wells;
• Participate and share performed work in license meetings with partners;
• Ensure that the work is in accordance with Equinor’s requirements for the different decision gates in the CVP process;
• Some traveling should be anticipated;
• Contribute to digitalization and simplification initiatives.
You

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an active CREA;
• Good communication skills and fluent command of the English and Portuguese language, both oral and written;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry within reservoir and/or production engineering;
• Broad technological background within reservoir engineering;
• Experience with history matching and uncertainty analysis;
• Experience from clastic and/or pre-salt carbonate reservoirs. IOR initiatives are an advantage;
• Be proactive by nature, takes initiative and is able to work independently as needed;
• Ability to drive internal processes through interaction with and demand from other organizational units and projects;
• Maintains ability to be creative, independent and flexible in a demanding, multicultural business environment.
