Principle Instrumentation Engineer – The Hague, Netherlands
Contract Duration: An initial 12-month contract working via Leap29, after the 12 months there is a potential permanent position
Preferred Language Requirement: Dutch and English Speaking
Hybrid Work: At least 3 days/week in the office in The Hague
Our client is a major EPC company in Petrochemical, Hydrogen and Refinery sector. We are currently seeking a Principle Instrumentation Engineer to work on a large size fast track New Energy Project in Feed phase for one of their customers.
Job requires supervision of the instrumentation project team (engineers) in the Netherlands as well as remote office. Travelling outside of the Netherlands may be required on basis of business trips.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a pro-active and pragmatic mentality.
- Experience in work cooperation with remote offices (work sharing concept).
- Real team player (within ICS team and cooperation with other departments).
- Takes ownership of the scope, budget and schedule.
- Candidate can work independently and reports to project engineer/manager.
- Able to check the deliverables produced by the team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in the areas of ICS instrument engineering for 15+ years, of which minimum of 5 years of lead engineer experience in Large size (> 300 million Euro TIC) projects
- Experience in development of instrument scope in FEED and Detailed Design project phases.
- Clear communication in English language, both verbal and in writing.
