Job description
Our client is looking to hire a skilled process engineer to join Mariners Process Capacity and Reliability Team.
As a process engineer, you will be committed to identifying and completing up front engineering and scoping of opportunities, whilst providing technical support throughout the lifecycle of projects, across emissions reduction and process capacity and debottlenecking projects. The role shall also support emerging opportunities, reliability studies, RCA’s etc.
To ensure success you should have extensive experience in process design, excellent technical skills, and high-level analytical skills. Be a proven engineer with demonstrable experience in analysing process systems, including identification of minor and major production and emission optimisation opportunities.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
* Support/lead the maturation and implementation of existing and future opportunities.
* Provide technical, business case input into the modification process.
* Work with externals on capacity and debottlenecking studies and opportunities.
* Support/lead the maturation of existing plant capacity and reliability opportunities.
* Support/lead the maturation of existing and future emission reduction opportunities.
* Complete energy benefit assessments for emission reduction opportunities
* Provide input to communications (onshore, offshore, external)
Work related competence.
* Bachelor’s or Masters degree in chemical/process engineering. (Masters preferred)
* Proven experience as a process engineer.
* Experience with process simulators.
* High-level knowledge of process engineering principles and the ability to perform first principle calculations.
* Experience in emissions reduction projects.
* Working knowledge of static and rotating mechanical systems.
* Advanced technical skills.
* Analytical thinker.
* Ability to project manage.
