Production Engineer will be responsible for performing the daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Discusses consequences of changes in products and processes for the own team in the manufacturing organization.
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees
- Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Mentoring and coaching employees
- Ensuring the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Checking production output according to specifications
- Submitting reports on performance and progress
- Identifying issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements
- Training new employees on how to use machinery and follow procedures safely
- Enforcing strict safety guidelines and company standards
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have BE/BTech in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Instrumentation Engineering with 2- 3 years of experience in Valves Manufacturing Industry
- Have proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
- Have experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Have good skills in MS Office
- Have organizational and leadership abilities
- Have good problem-solving skills.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated with a results-driven approach
