The position
By joining our team in Exploration & Production International you will have the opportunity to:
Perform Safe Work-related roles as defined in Equinor procedures with emphasis on area responsibilities and Implementation of isolation/de-isolation, leak testing and safe return to service of plant equipment.
Coordinate the implementation of plant preparation for maintenance as per operational procedures.
Operate assigned production systems and carryout area responsibilities as defined in the Equinor Management system.
Ensure a High level of awareness of Environmental compliance due to the nature of mariner oil.
Assist and work with specialised vendors who visit the platform, ensure that all tasks are completed correctly and safely.
Carry out Safety Critical tasks in accordance with defined performance standards for SECE, identify and raise failures through the SAP work process including close out with accurate history.
Provide comprehensive records and logs, as well as ensuring that effective handovers are carried out.
Carryout Emergency Response duties as identified in Emergency Response Plan, or as directed by the OIM.

Experience working in an operational oil and gas engineering environment on or offshore.
Control Room Operator experience may be advantageous but not essential.
Multidisciplined qualifications in either mechanical, electrical, process, production, chemical of benefit.
The ability to handle responsibility and occasional high work-loads, and delivers high quality work under tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritise tasks whilst ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines requiring good communication and interpersonal skills, developing trust, respect and team work within and out with own department.
Current offshore survival qualification desirable for an ongoing 2/3 offshore rotation.
