A global leading energy company is looking for a Project Coordination Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke on a permanent staff basis. This role offers hybrid working of up to 12 days/month working from home, which can be used as you wish.

As a Project Coordination Engineer, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to oversee and coordinate project activities, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion. This role involves supporting the Head of the PRC Department in knowledge sharing, lessons learned initiatives, and coordinating monthly meetings.


Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination Engineer 

– Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to coordinate engineering activities for assigned projects.

– Review critical engineering deliverables to ensure project design integrity.

– Ensure adherence to engineering and HSE standards in compliance with company and local regulations.

– Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures when necessary.

– Provide regular updates on project status to ensure timely reporting.

– Assist in the execution of the project management plan with a focus on risk, interface, and change management.

– Uphold the highest safety standards and ensure compliance with HSEQ processes.

– Flexibility to travel as required.


Key Requirements: Project Coordination Engineer

– Technical background in the energy sector, ideally with experience in concept development through FEED and detailed engineering/EPC stages.

– Strong engineering expertise and ability to provide technical support.

– Experience in project management, with the ability to understand business-driven project goals.

– Familiarity with industry standards and international engineering codes.

– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

– Leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams across various locations.

– Strong decision-making skills with the ability to handle risks and uncertainties.

– Familiarity with continuous improvement processes.

– A degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
