Our business
Our Operator client are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join the team in Aberdeen.  The role will support platform maintenance, modification & upgrade scopes.

Key Responsibilities and background:
The Project Engineer shall provide a full portfolio of services including, but not limited to:

  • Work alongside and positively interact with the Project team.
  • Manage engineers to meet timely delivery of activities.
  • Responsible for the delivery of allocated projects, from kick-off to close-out in line with the following project management principles:
    • HSSE
    • Scope
    • Cost
    • Schedule
    • Risk Management
    • Resourcing
    • Quality
  • Write and maintain the Project Execution Plan.
  • Ensure that the projects and sub projects achieve fit for purpose solutions in a safe, environmentally sound, cost-effective, and timely manner.
  • Accountable for the development, resource identification and delivery of the project plan, performing the role of the project functional 12 week gate keeper where applicable.
  • Assist with project estimating, forecasting and VOWD management, delivering within AFE.
  • Ensuring all projects are executed in accordance with the company Management of Engineering Change Process.
  • Preparation of Project Basis, Statement of Requirement and 3rd party SOW documentation, and key Project management documents
  • Document project meetings
  • Liaise and work closely with the Operations, Maintenance, Site Engineering teams and Company Technical Authorities for scope identification, progress reporting and change management.

                            
Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
 

  • Strong project experience in Oil & Gas Industry on maintenance, modification and upgrade projects for North Sea asset.
