On behalf of our client we are looking for a Project Manager to support a portfolio of projects including Ammonia storage facilities, HVO unit to produce renewable diesel and aviation fuel, Hydrogen purification units and LPG recovery facilities.
The position is on an contract basis expected to run up until mid-2028. The role will be based in Rotterdam so the candidate must be willing to be based here at least 4 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 15+ years engineering and Brownfield work experience.
- Has working experience with managing projects on behalf of Clients in the Oil and Gas business
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields
- Manage and support engineering contractors and construction contractor
- Good knowledge of policies, procedures and best practices
The scope of work will include:
- Establish a safety-first culture to projects
- Manage risks in design and construction
- Ensure, technical integrity and applicable standards being implemented
- Manage project interfaces, resources, scope, schedule, costs and quality of mainly Brown Field projects.
- Ensure that project control processes are in place
- Work closely together with Contracting, Procurement, Operations and Maintenance and other departments
- Manage HSE, Quality Assurance and Control
