Project Manager (Heavy Civil/Industrial/Marine) – Charleston, SC
*****IMMEDIATE NEED*****
Seeking candidates focused on project success and exceeding customer expectations. Candidates must safely perform all duties listed below and follow safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful completion and profitability of projects.
- Lead and mentor project teams to create an efficient and positive work environment.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with contract and permit requirements.
- Provide a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Maximize equipment and resources, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation.
- Maintain good business relations with stakeholders, including owners, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Manage contract administration, including schedule, document control, change orders, daily reports, as-built documents, submittals, and meetings.
- Oversee project administration, including cost management, quality control, recordkeeping, payroll, accounting, survey, job engineering, and purchasing.
- Manage financial aspects of the project, including pay estimates, accounts receivable, cash flow, cost reporting, forecasting, and retention.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience in Marine, Heavy Civil, and/or Industrial construction.
- Ability to lead and motivate project staff.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD programs
