  • Advisor for all issues regarding Project Management Discipline with the mandate to recommend and lead required Project Assurance and Project Review activities and improvements for all projects.
  • Perform or lead Project Review activities (including Audits, Investigations etc) with the mandate to recommend to the decision maker(s) if project is sufficiently matured in the current stage and is ready or not to proceed to the next stage.
  • Involved in setting up project assurance and project review team of experienced resources within relevant project and technical disciplines
  • Perform and lead Project Assurance activities
  • Act as Owner or Owners Representative for relevant parts of the Business Management System (BMS)
  • Support line managers in long term career planning for Project Management and Project Control.
  • Enforce Local and corporate standards on Project Maturation
  • Drive project improvement processes from DG0 to project close-out.
  • Manage and maintain the local Skill Networks within Project Management
  • External link/Company representative within Project Management
  • Share lessons learned and best practices from/to other projects and in the community with continuous project improvements
  • Active coach and mentor for staff to develop skills in Project Management. Provide QA per assist (QAA) to individuals when requested
  • Advise the other departments in the project maturation discipline

Education Requirements & Work Experience
  • University degree in relevant subject
  • Experience in all phases of a field development project incl. brownfield projects for operated and partner-operated projects
  • Solid technical E&P experience
  • Good knowledge of Project Management related disciplines (Project Management. Cost estimation, Project cost control, Project Scheduling/Planning, Interface management, Project integration, Risks management, and Supply Chain)
  • Strong knowledge of Business Managements Systems especially for Project Maturation
  • Minimum 15 years relevant experience preferable within the oil & gas business
  • Minimum 10 years in E&P projects
