Project Quality Coordinator
Tanzania, with travel to work sites in Tanzania and Uganda
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Coordinator to oversee Quality Control (QC) processes across multiple disciplines, including Welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Coating, Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecommunications (EI&T), and Civil works. The role involves ensuring compliance with project quality standards and facilitating coordination between Contractors and Field Engineering teams to support safe and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage QC processes across disciplines like Welding, NDT, EI&T, and Civil works.
- Ensure Contractor teams adhere to project Quality Control strategies.
- Collaborate with Field Engineering to maintain QC standards.
- Support QC efforts during fabrication and construction phases.
- Promote compliance with safety protocols and project specifications.
- Ensure timely QC reporting and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a similar role on large-scale construction projects, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- CSWIP 3.1 certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with multicultural teams and contractor performance management.
Skills:
- Proficient in QC processes and industry software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience in welding processes, testing, and inspection standards.
