Job Duties and Qualifications

Job Duties:

  • Under broad direction, performs preventive/predictive inspections, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs the discharge/suction assemblies of Halliburton pumps including, but not limited to; HT-150, HT-400, HT-2000, Grizzly (HQ-2000) and Bearcat as well as other manufacturer’s pumping equipment.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on some mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of documentation that is produced within the pump maintenance process.
  • Responsible for the QA/QC, final check, input and accuracy of data into Halliburton’s system of record for the maintenance of pumping equipment.
  • Assists in the supervision of pump maintenance process, responsible for mentoring junior technicians.
  • This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities.
  • Ensures duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.

 

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in pump maintenance is required.
  • This role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical approach, and a good understanding of document control.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Consequences of error are not easily measured and can result in failure of high-pressure pumping systems.
  • Such failures may result in serious injury or death to employees and customers in the field.
