Are you a QHSE Advisor looking for your next role? My client contributes to the development of traditional upstream projects aimed at guaranteeing energy security, downstream and decarbonisation projects, from carbon capture, utilisation and storage to energy efficiency, in the field of Oil & Gas and Renewables. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QHSE Advisor to join their team in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities: QHSE Advisor

– Provide expert support for engineering projects, specifically in relation to the Project Quality Management System.

– Assist in the implementation and management of QHSE Management Systems for other business areas.

– Monitor and ensure strict adherence to corporate and project QHSE requirements, as well as compliance with applicable local regulations.

– Contribute to the execution of audits against key management system standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

– Support corporate reporting initiatives for the business and other business areas.

– Facilitate the alignment of departmental procedures with overarching corporate requirements.

– Provide administrative support within the HSEQ department, including the management of the Company Library and Archive and assisting with procurement processes.

– Collaborate with General Services to ensure the building’s compliance with HSE standards.

Key Requirements: QHSE Advisor

– In-depth knowledge of QHSE systems, tools, and best practices.

– Proven experience in maintaining and operating management systems aligned with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

– Certification as an auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 is highly desirable.

– Prior experience in the Energy sector is advantageous.

– Demonstrated experience in QHSE project support is preferred.

– Working knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations is desirable.

– Familiarity with Facilities or Building Maintenance activities is considered an asset.

– A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or professional qualifications in QHSE-related disciplines are highly desirable.
