As a Quality control Inspector, you will provide support on quality inspection on machine parts. You will ensure all parts and tools are inspected thoroughly to meets company’s expectation.
As Quality control Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Complying to HSE & Quality policy. Effectively participate in HSE and Quality programs and training as assigned.
- Understanding and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Identifying and using measuring equipment needed to verify requirements.
Responsible for performing inspections such as visual, dimensional and Inspection of the parts requires in Assembly and test area. - Verifying completeness of all operations and records.
- Completing and maintaining inspection records, inspection logs, calibration.
- Initiating non-conformance reports on all products, parts, assemblies and subassemblies that are not to requirements.
- Driving quality culture to their plant.
- Collaborating with site quality and manufacturing engineering on RCA, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Working with Baker Hughes management system databases and systems (SAP, BHOS, etc)
- May participate in quality audits, material review boards, kaizens or root cause analysis.
- May need to program or calibrate inspection equipment
Financial - Identifying cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead for review/implementation.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical education.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality inspection and documentation.
- Have experience with QMS Audits
- Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a thorough and logical approach to proactively solving complex problems.
