Location: Heide, Germany

Duration: 12 Month renewable contract (freelancer)

Start Date: ASAP

As a Quality Manager, you will apply extensive and varied knowledge of Quality principles and practices to a broad range of project assignments. You will plan and execute a wide variety of technical and administrative assignments and effectively interact with others. This role may involve serving as the Office Quality Manager for medium to major execution offices or acting as the Project Quality Representative on small to medium projects.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with department and project personnel regarding Quality policies and procedures.
• Prepare project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the Quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective actions.
• Develop orientation programs to ensure project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan, including other Quality matters as necessary.
• Perform Quality audits and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Assess suppliers’ ability to meet the Quality requirements of the project.
• Maintain project Quality records for all phases of the project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Quality Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Quality principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively plan and execute technical and administrative assignments.
• Experience in preparing audit schedules, Quality plans, and reports.
• Familiarity with Quality auditing and corrective action processes.
• Ability to assess supplier capabilities regarding Quality requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Preferred Experience:

• • Previous experience serving as an Office Quality Manager or Project Quality Representative.
  • Experience in medium to major project execution environments.
  • Certification in Quality Management or related areas.

The Quality Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of Quality, working closely with project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve these goals.
