- To define, manage and implement the Quality objectives and strategy for the activities pertaining to the development phase of Block 30.
- Ensure compliance with identified national and international best technical standards applicable to the scope of the project work.
- Develop and promote a Quality and Risk Management culture within the organization which adds value, by emphasizing the importance of quality throughout the organization, foster employee engagement and accountability, and promote a team-oriented culture.
- Maintain the company Quality systems, manual and procedures.
- Promote a robust QA/QC culture amongst the project team.
- Establish and execute with the Project Management Team – clear objectives and targets to archive the desired project HSEQ performance aligned with Business Unit and Corporate goals.
- Responsible for developing the project Quality Plan, ITP Plans, Quality & As-built dossiers, Non-Conformity Reports.
- Ensure quality requirements are included in ITT, contracts, and in contractor work.
- Interface with the Quality Managers of vendors and contractors engaged for the project
- Be the focal point for TPIA (Third Party Inspection Agency)
- Coordinating, documenting and tracking preparatory, initial and follow-up inspections.
- Identification of technical industry codes, standards and regulations as applicable to project scope of work, for implementation and oversight via the project Quality Plan.
- Plan and execute project quality audit plans as required to ensure quality objectives of critical processes are met.
- Manage the project non-conformity register and provide guidance and follow-up as required via project disciplines.
- Develop and implement QA/QC project KPI’s and report these at regular intervals to project management to ensure adequate visibility regarding quality performance.
- Ensure that all necessary risk assessment activities are being performed on a regular basis (discipline risk meetings and project risk management meetings), including a proper closing of the risk reducing activities
- Ensure the Management of Change process is implemented and act SME / Coordinator for change management exercises, to ensure proper risk mitigation actions are identified and implemented.
- Act a SME for all incidents, accidents and quality deviation in terms of Root Causes Analysis techniques and proposal of mitigation measure to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure that previous QA/QC lessons learnt are revised and incorporated to the project strategy as applicable, as well as coordinating the capture of all new QA/QC lessons leant are captured for future projects.
- Responsible for risk management within project execution and deliverables.
- Implement and maintain a quality risk register with regular identification and mitigation plans for the project.
- Stop any unsafe operation/situation and report immediately to Site Management
- University Degree in B.S. Engineering, Quality Management, Business Management with relevant technical orientation.
- At least 10 years of experience on QA-QC positions in the Oil and Gas Industry. Three of which must include offshore postings in E&P or O&G production facilities.
- Offshore working experience is required.
- ISO:9001: 2015 Lead Auditor
- ISO 3100:2018 Risk Management Auditor
- SIX-SIGMA, API- AQ2, ASQ-CQI, ASQ-CQE, and equivalent professional licenses
- In-depth knowledge of operational activities, Industry standards and Codes as well as Hazard identification, assessment and control (risk management strategies)
- Proficient knowledge of in-country and international standards for O&G (Knowledge, interpretation and execution)
- Experience with ITT/contract establishment, clarification/qualifications and quality requirements
- Sound understanding of Project Management principals
- Proficient in audit planning and execution
- Root Cause Analysis Investigation techniques.
