You will be responsible for performing tests (eg NDT) and defining controls (eg SPC). Ensure correct alignment with quality requirements. Ensure that manufactured or procured products meet specified standards before they progress to next phase of production or customer delivery.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the reduction of assembly punches & cross functionality with manufacturing.
- Leading the Pre-Inspection and In-Process Inspection meetings with customers for all projects in addition to the project quality plan reviews.
- Leading the monthly QHSE meetings for Saudi operation.
- Ensuring the manufacturing team/customer follows Baker Hughes HSE requirements.
- Leading the risk and opportunity register management for regional plants in collaboration with supply chain to successfully mitigate risks.
- Leading Stop Work and implementing corrective actions.
- Conducting technician trainings to improve the team’s skills and capability of tool and machine usage.
- Constant collaboration with ITO, Engineering, and Project Management teams for the customer qualification process and specification compliance, facility approvals, and quality related engagement with regulatory authorities.
- Establishing and conducting NCA/RCA (Root cause analysis and non conformity analysis) and investigations for NCRs (non conformity requests) related to our products and management systems in addition to monitoring CAPAs (corrective action / preventive action) for quality issues.
- Managing SAP NCR (non conformity requests) closure within the expected time frame meeting KPI targets for MENA region.
- Running KPI report for the Eastern hemisphere plants on a monthly basis to monitor KPI scores of Operations, Quality, and HSE for the plants.
- Coordinating with regional plants in ensuring all quality records have been reviewed and uploaded in the respective record location.
- Resolving Quality and non-conforming material issues and coordinate RMA’s.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives related to non-conformances related to customer experience and cost of quality.
- Coordinating Tableau quality reports, Audit external and internal, Calibration for testing tools, PIM Meetings, Project quality documents, and Quality review calls.
Fuel your passion
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Quality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong problem solving skills.
