SLB Ireland is the engineering centre of excellence for flow control products, we have an energetic R&D Team focused on developing Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.

Job Summary:

SLB, in Longford Town, currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intern Software/Electronic R&D Engineer to work with a team of engineers to assist develop Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Designing R&D projects from inception to completion
• Developing leading edge technology for Energy Harvesting, and the Energy Industry
• Analyse, design, develop, maintain products, and assist in their commercialization.
• Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing. Set up and run lab simulations.
• Design and implement tests, document results, and develop customer presentations.
• Provide timely corrective actions on defects.
• Produce analyses and mathematical models and draw design conclusions based on those.
• Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs, code, and other artifacts.

Competencies:

• Studying towards a Bachelor or Master MS. in Software/Electronic Engineering or in related field.
• Team player who knows how to work in a team environment.
• Interest product design and development.
• Technical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach 

Qualification:

Studying towards a Bachelors or Masters in Software OR Electronic Engineering related field
