Summary

The Receptionist at the Drilling Support Center, located in Nisku, AB, is an integral member of the Precision Drilling Finance and Accounting team, supporting all functions to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Duties and responsibilities include:

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Answer multi-line phones and appropriately direct inquiries
  • Monitor, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and fax communications
  • Assist DSC Finance & Operations Support Team with day-to-day functions
  • Support and assist with the creation of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) for a variety of departments
  • Create and email Freight Uploads to Accounts Payable in Calgary
  • Assist the Drilling Support Centre with Purchasing and Goods Receipt of items in SAP, as needed
  • Assist in coding non-PO type expenses
  • Verifies quantity and pricing issues for a variety of departments in VIM
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Various other administrative ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

Education

High School Diploma

 

Experience

Previous experience with a medium-volume multi-line switchboard

Previous SAP experience would be an asset

1-2 years of previous reception or office administration experience
