Position Overview:
The Sales Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements, providing accurate cost estimates, and supporting our sales team in securing roofing projects. You will work closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that our pricing is competitive and in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and other resources required for commercial roofing projects.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their roofing needs and provide timely and professional responses to inquiries.
Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and competitive project proposals for clients, including cost breakdowns and timelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support the sales process, providing technical expertise and cost analysis during negotiations.
Cost Analysis: Continuously monitor market prices for roofing materials and labor to ensure competitive pricing.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of project estimates and correspondence with clients.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all estimates align with the company’s quality standards and industry best practices.
Communication: Clearly communicate technical information to both clients and internal teams, bridging the gap between technical requirements and client expectations.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including project managers and field personnel, to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a sales estimator in the commercial roofing industry or a similar field.
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
