Partner with the best

As a Sales Specialist Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for managing chemical applications and technical support needs for customer accounts. Builds customer relationships to identify future requirements to help revenue growth. Leads and develops a collaborative team to solve complex and interesting technical problems. Provides a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical delivery systems. Takes ownership of account applications at the customer site and ensures they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner while supporting our customer’s needs.

As a Sales Specialist Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for:

  • Build long-term strategic relationships by providing account management to customers while understanding their business requirements and originating sales opportunities
  • Identify, coordinate, and collaborate with team members to drive projects, technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers
  • Develop, deliver, and lead business reviews and technical presentations to customers, executive leadership, and team
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of existing refinery chemical process business for customer accounts, technicians and account representatives
  • Demonstrate good communication with interpersonal skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with teams and customers
  • Follow Sales and Service Standards at key customer accounts to ensure compliance
  • • Directly manage a team of employees

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrate good experience gained through Industrial, Refining or Sales Experience Demonstrate
  • Experience of refinery process, finished fuels additive and treatments
  • Have a solid understanding of emulsification, corrosion control, fouling control, water treatment and finished fuel additives
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
  • Have the ability to work on your own to troubleshoot and solve complex and interesting problems
  • Have good communication skills and an aptitude for building customer relationships
  • Be able to work within a multi-functional team based at one geographical location
  • Show a basic knowledge of presentation and negotiation skills
  • Have the ability to perform basic field and lab service and communicate performance vs KPI’s
