Senior Accounts Payable Administrator

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team at our Zoetermeer Office in the Netherlands on a full-time staff basis.

 

What you will be doing

  • Ensuring that the processing of all invoices is performed accurately, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicating efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to the P2P process
  • Provide support to Accounts Payables team with daily tasks
  • First point of contact for queries within the Accounts Payables team
  • Supporting with the onboarding of new colleagues
  • Analysing Accounts Payables issues and solving problems at the root cause
  • KPI dashboarding
  • Responsible for creating Tax payments and maintaining Tax balance accounts
  • Reviewing monthly Accounts Payable reconciliations and actively clearing old items
  • Liaison with local and group to maintain best practice and remain compliant
  • Contribute to the optimization of Accounts Payables processes
  • Assisting Financial Administration and Financial Accounting as needed
  • Ensures adherence to Seaway7’s Business Management System; embed professional tools, policies, systems and processes.
  • Provide support in compiling records for internal and external audits
  • Archiving financial documents of group companies
  • Carry out other department related tasks when required by management

 

What you will bring to the team

  • Secondary Vocational level (MBO)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proactive in signalling deadlines and take appropriate actions.
  • Multitasking / flexible / able to work in a time-sensitive situation.
  • Accurate and hands on mentality.
  • Able to take ownership of tasks/responsibilities.
  • Advanced computer skills (Outlook & Excel).
  • SAP or S/4HANA knowledge/experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with vendor invoice management (VIM) is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills in English, speaking and writing.
