The position
By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:
Contribute to have safe and efficient helicopter operations.
Have regular dialogue with helicopter companies, relevant authorities, including the airport operator.
Take part in the development of helicopter operations in colloboration with external and internal units.
Be responsible to the establishment and introduction of new procedures/work processes.
Carry out project manager responsibilities when necessary.
Contribute to ensuring the implementation of operational requirements, as well as contributing to verifications/monitoring.
Participate in supplier follow-up, supplier development and market development within the field of air transport.
Contribute to the implementation of digitization initiatives, as well as contribute to continuous improvement groups in the aviation product.
The Air Transport Sector (ATS) in Equinor is the contract owner and resource owner of the Crew Change and SAR helicopters on behalf of Equinor, and following up of suppliers. ATS is responsible for following up Equinor’s helicopter operations on the Norwegian continental shelf. ATS deliveries include safe and efficient air transport resources; ownership of the contract portfolio for helicopter, fixed wing and support services, including safety services, personnel logistics system and survival suits. In ATS portfolio there are around 24 helicopters including Crew Change & SAR (Search And Rescue) helicopters on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Responsibility also include follow-up suppliers against six helicopter bases/heliports; technical support and resources related to helicopter operations/personnel logistics.

In dept knowledge within offshore helicopter operations.
A relevant Master’s degree, however other relevant education/experience can also be considered.
Operational experience and knowledge of Havtil and the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority’s regulations and working methodology would be an advantage.
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Good English skills, both oral and written, as well as good/fluent knowledge of Norwegian, both spoken and written.
Experience in project management/leadership would be an advantage.
Good collaboration and communication skills. But also self – driven when needed.
Good IT knowledge and interest in learning new IT tools.
Committment to help create a culture of continuous improvement.
