The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Be part of Equinor gas value chain in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment and contribute to business growth within the areas of Gas Marketing and Trading, Power, Carbon Markets, and Low Carbon activities. 
  • Draft, review, negotiate, administer, and conduct periodic reviews of contracts ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and company policies. 
  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, navigating sometimes conflicting perspectives.
  • Contribute to (and potentially lead smaller) change and improvement initiatives to optimise and enhance operational efficiency in alignment with business strategies and requirements. 
  • Work with minimal guidance to deliver your own proposals and solutions to address specific business challenges. 
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external counterparties to establish and maintain a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree with previous experience working with contracts in energy and/or financial trading, primarily within Gas Marketing and Trading. 

  • Structured and result-oriented colleague, with a strong commercial and analytical mindset and a high focus on details. 

  • A team player comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment, flexible and proactive, curious and willing to take on new challenges and tasks, delivering high quality work within tight deadlines. 

  • Solid experience in Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant digital skills.

  • Passionate individual with a strong drive for improvements, best practice, business understanding and commercial awareness, and the ability to see the full gas value chain. 

  • Forward leaning and curious to identify and implement improvements and improved ways of working in the contracts discipline.
