The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
- Monitor and expand a portfolio of materials engineering activities (including corrosion and additive manufacturing) with peers, universities, technology centers, local companies and all technology external ecosystem supporting to add valuable deliveries to achieve Equinor´s ambition.
- Follow-up development and qualification projects and activities within materials, cooperating with domain specialists and leading advisors in Brazil and Norway to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies and digital solutions.
- Secure development in accordance with relevant requirements and standards, collaborating with the full value chain to understand business needs, technology gaps and opportunities.
- Contractor follow-up and collaboration with other Joint Industry Project (JIP) participants/operators.
- Promote technology in Brazilian operational units and support the full Equinor portfolio, with a focus on early phase development projects.
You

- Master’s or PhD degree in Materials, Metalurgical, Mechanic and Chemical Engineering, with relevant experience of technology, research and project. Active CREA registration.
- Development or broad industry exposure and network in corrosion and corrosion protection, metallic materials, additive manufacturing and electrochemistry.
- Fluency in Portuguese and Advanced English (oral and written).
- Structured, systematic, and result-oriented professional.
- Knowledge/experience of ANP regulations for Research, Development and Innovation is a benefit.
- Good project management skills.
- Strong cooperation skills, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
