60% of time to support on flow assurance and process engineering our Disouco Joint Venture with Egas. Optimize gas treatment plant operations and assist commissioning activities on gas treatment plant upgrade project.
- Provide flow assurance/ process engineering expertise
- Support Disouco Operations team in tackling gas/ condensate production challenges
- Co-operate actively with Subsurface, Well Engineering and Operations personnel in developing flow assurance/ process solutions.
- Perform flow assurance with adequate process model software (e.g. Olga)
- Model the central treatment plant with adequate process model (e.g. Aspen Hysys)
- Review and decide on engineering deliverables.
- Manage facility projects and Plant modifications
40% of time to support on facilities engineering expertise our partner-operated assets. Support production operations, business development activities, exploration and field development projects of our assets in Egypt, Algeria and Libya.
- Establish sound technical Facilities definitions
- Define development concepts
- Review and decide on engineering deliverables
- Exchange with equipment supplier on design features, cost and delivery time
- Perform cost estimates with adequate software (e.g. Que$tor)
- Generate time schedule of facilities project
- Manage facility projects and Plant modifications
- Develop Project Life of Field sheets and liaise with Finance expert on economical evaluation
The position is located in Disouco JV office. Frequent business trips to Disouq on-site production facilities foreseen.

- University degree in process engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum ten years relevant experience with Oil & Gas Operations.
- Have facilities engineering project experience.
- Have detailed understanding of pipeline, plant process, utility and safety systems.
- Experience with Egyptian gas fields is important.
- Creative, open, responsible and entrepreneurial.
- Delivery mind set.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Act responsible and in accordance with company HSE and quality requirements.
- Act in accordance with company ethical guidelines and code of conduct.
