Job Profile Summary:
The Senior Staff Facilities & Real Estate Professional, working independently under limited supervision, is responsible for carrying out complex projects independently, leads change efforts, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating skill in mentoring and influencing. The role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives for to execute and improve design and construction activities, maintaining organization’s corporate real estate assets and ensuring alignment with operational needs and strategic goals. The role contributes to the management of the organization’s property portfolio, including office buildings, warehouses, and other facilities and implements initiatives to optimize the use of space and resources to meet the needs of the organization. The role serves as a key link between facilities and real estate department and business operations, helping to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Job Description:
- Monitors day-to-day facility maintenance operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and functional environment and manages building maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Carries out complex design and construction management projects independently, leads change efforts, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating skill in mentoring and influencing.
- Establishes effective relationships, achieves strategic results using infrastructure business acumen, and actively remediates data quality issues, optimizing problem-solving through multi-discipline knowledge.
- Identifies, diagnoses, and recommends design and construction management solutions to complex problems, coordinates assignments across functional areas, and demonstrates detailed functional mastery, contributing to company goals and decision-making.
- Maintains readiness of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in emergencies and identifies potential risks and vulnerabilities in the organization’s facilities and implements risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversees process improvement initiatives and design and construction improvement activities within facilities and real estate management and implements best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Conducts regular safety inspections for organization’s facilities and, in coordination with physical and digital security teams, implements security measures to protect assets and ensure the safety of employees.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Building Sciences, , Facilities Management, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.
Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Design/Construction Management, Facility Management, Space Planning and Utilization or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
Certifications:
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) (preferred)
- Facility Management Professional (FMP) (preferred)
