We are looking for a passionate Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team at our Westhill, Aberdeen office on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a newly created role reporting directly to the HR Director and will have responsibility for managing all HR activities within their area of the business, which will have a specific focus on our offshore personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, headcount management, budgeting, business partnering and relations management.
The Senior HRBP will provide a consistent and professional HR service to line and functional management, project teams and employees, ensuring an efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of HR activities, always considering the impact of local employment legislation. Through coordination of effective and pro-active business partnerships the Senior HRBP will provide global co-ordination of the HR service from our regions to ensure compliance and consistency both on and offshore.
What will you be doing?
As the role will be responsible for a large and diverse group the tasks and responsibilities will be varied and always evolving, but some of the key deliverables will be:
- Effectively align and maintain the interface and co-ordination of all offshore entities in all aspects of HR
- Actively engage in headcount and budgetary management to deliver expected performance
- Implement diversity and inclusion strategies and ensure local targets are met.
- Support the standardisation, compliance and efficiency of HR policies, processes and systems across Subsea7.
- Ensure that all HR data for employees within remit is accurate and up to date.
- Identify and set up agreements with local training providers to deliver skill building and professional development training.
- Maintain relationships with industry bodies and internal & external HR community as required.
- Maintain contact with outbound expatriates and report back any issues to their Functional Manager and HR Director.
- Actively engage with the companies’ offshore personnel service provider (GEC) in communication and liaison with the crew from a business expectation perspective.

- Appropriate level of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, global offshore environment.
- Tertiary or similar level of qualification in a Human Resources subject.
- Proven ability to produce accurate work and prioritise and organise work accordingly to meet changeable and often tight deadlines on multiple tasks.
- A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively establish relationships and communicate across a variety of stakeholders both internal and external, up to the highest levels.
