Senior Planner

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Planner, who will be required to work on a Outside IR35 Contract basis working fully remote.

Role Purpose:

• As a Senior Planner you will be joing an Oil & Gas Project working on a new Carbon Capture Storage Project.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Maintaining full familiarity with company policies, directives and procedures and suggesting improvements to project planning methods, procedures, and practices to the Chief Engineer, Project Services.
• Developing the resource loaded project baseline schedule and S-curve to monitor and report project progress, also playing an active part in scope management.
• Creating project specific planning procedures where necessary.
• Monitoring the Planning man-hour spend against the budget on assigned projects.
• Ensuring that the project planning network is set-up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System and SAP if required.
• Maintaining full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including relevant parts of the EDMS if required).
• Assisting in preparation of proposals and making presentations to clients.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Relevant experience as a Planning Engineer in the O&G industry, particularly with operating companies. Experience would preferably include offshore, onshore and pipelines projects.
• Mastery of Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Office suite is essential.
• An undergraduate degree in an Engineering subject would be preferable.
