POSITION summary
The Senior Project Cost Controller will be responsible for ensuring effective cost management of the company’s financial resources. The ideal candidate will contribute to the effective running of projects and comprises responsibility for, but not limited to cost performance status and financial reporting.
primary responsabilities:
- Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective management and delivery of the cost control activities within assigned projects
- Interface with budget owners to review budgets and commitments and to challenge forecasts
- Prepare cost and financial input to the PMSR (Project Monthly Status Report)
- Prepare Client cost reports
- Analyze variances from As Sold to current Estimate At Completion (EAC) by building a detailed monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast
- Establish and maintain project coding WBS/NWA structure in SAP and EcoSys
- Perform monthly accounting closing and post project cost accruals and unbilled Revenue in SAP and EcoSys
- Prepare and issue all project invoices and maintain invoice register updated. Prepare the Revenue Reconciliation monthly
- Prepare project cash flows in support of the Group’s Treasury requirements for cash flow forecasting
- Participate in estimation of Variation Orders, prepare supporting data and documentation and evaluate Variation Orders performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, processes and procedures and strive for continual improvement and the application of best practice

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Cost Management, Finance, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost control
- Experience in SAP and EcoSys (or any other Project Cost Management software)
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable with numbers manipulation
- Ability to identify areas for process improvements
- Able to work autonomously
- General support to less experienced Cost Controllers
- Must be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
- Strong desire for delivering the best possible product at all time,
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the company with various ad-hoc analysis skills
