We are looking for varying levels of experienced Project Engineer (Cables / CPS / Electrical) to join our team in our Aberdeen office on a staff or contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the world’s largest current and upcoming Offshore Windfarm projects.
What you will be doing
- Prepare project specific drawings, procedures (e.g. installation procedures, task risk assessment, work methods, etc.) for projects and tenders.
- Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts and review / evaluate subcontractor documentation.
- Prepare and review planning for project preparation and execution.
- Identify and arrange project equipment/materials requirements.
- Complete administrative tasks for project engineering, as required.
- Participate in project execution at-site and offshore.
What you will bring to the team

- BEng / BSc or Meng / MSc degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant work experience within the offshore energy industry – particularly within cables or relatable experience in umbilical / flexible installation.
- Knowledge of subsea cable installation and protection systems is beneficial.
- Thorough knowledge of working methods, planning and risk assessment
- A practical approach and good communication skills
