JOB TITLE: SENIOR SUBSEA SUPERVISOR
This role will provide Company Representation and Supervision on worksite for subsea operations and is accountable for the subsea implementation of program in a safe and efficient manner.
The Senior Subsea Supervisor has accountability for timing and costs and to ensure as little operational or production downtime as possible is incurred.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for any subsea SIT planning.
- Responsible for reviewing and approval of procedures.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure equipment is available and delivered to site on time.
- Provide input into the development of the intervention strategies including contingencies, plans and procedures for the wells.
- Provide subsea supervision for the site implementation of the program.
- Provides input into work instructions.
- During Subsea activities lead pre-shift & pre-major operation toolbox talks / JSA’s.
- Participates in with vessel based After Action Reviews.
- Prepare and review tallies for equipment run and recovered for Subsea related operations.
- Coordinate between vessel personnel and service companies during planning and vessel intervention activities.
- Review and provide input for Subsea equipment deployment and ROV operations relative to Subsea infrastructure.
- Responsible for subsea related simultaneous operations conducted on the vessel.
- Ensures continuous improvement and Lessons Learnt are captured with respect to activities on the vessel and in Perth (when onshore).
- Prepare detailed daily reports for offshore operations and onshore activities.
- Ensure well material and service providers comply with specified quality assurance and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure that the PMITP and process for document submission is followed by our service companies.
- Subsea performance/efficiency improvement – identifies performance improvement initiatives.
- During Subsea activities lead on-site risk assessments necessitated by changes to program and/or nonstandard operations.
- Participates in well and operations hazard assessments and HAZOPs.
- Participates in compiling well risk register and well barrier review.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- At all times, ensure the welfare of personnel and the protection of our assets and the environment.
- Actively participate in Client/Company safety programs and training as required.
- Ensures HSE requirements are integral to all aspects of subsea activities.
- Participate in the Client/Company safety performance program.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Certification – Offshore Medical (UKOG), T/BOSIET (OPTIO), CA EBS (OPTIO)
- High proficiency with IT and industry software (i.e. MS Suite, etc).
- In depth knowledge of Subsea Services, Well Services, Completions, Drilling and Offshore Supervision.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a subsea supervisor with operating companies.
- Good communication skills keeping direct supervisors informed when working on stand-alone scope of works.·
- Preference of knowledge and experience in design and running of vertical trees and working in Australia.·
- Must be able to work without direct supervision when required (i.e. remote dealings with contractors, etc.).·
- Safety management system understanding and implementation skills.·
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.·
- Proactive, enthusiastic. team player.·
- Ability to work under pressure.·
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.·
- To be able to work in a variety of teams, both onshore and offshore.
- The ability to be able to lead a diversified team in well construction.
