Site Quality Coordinator III

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to search for a Site Quality Coordinator III to work with a major Oil and Gas company on an 18-22-month contract (with the possibility of extension) in Donaldsonville, LA
 

The Site Quality Coordinator III is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities on site comply with established quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading quality control efforts, coordinating with various teams, and maintaining thorough documentation to guarantee that the project meets or exceeds industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil construction and a strong understanding of quality management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control plans specific to civil construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Identify non-conformance issues, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality objectives are understood and met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related issues on site.
• Train and mentor site personnel on quality control processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in structural, piping, mechanical equipment installations, and construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience
• Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in quality inspections in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
• Experience with inspection and testing methods, including materials testing.
