Snr QA/QC Engineer – Qatar

I have an outstanding opportunity for a Snr QA/QC Engineer to join our client at their HQ in Qatar on a permanent basis. On top of a lucrative base salary, you will also receive a market-leading additional benefits package.

To be considered, applicants must have the following:

– Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in the O&G sector with an international recognised EPIC contractor or end user/owner organisations, covering pipelines and process plants.

– Hands on working experience in major EPIC projects with involvement in all phases of EPIC from working level to independently managing/heading QA/QC function, with technical expertise in core discipline.

– Working knowledge in the manufacturing inspection and certification processes for equipment/materials in projects and the associated Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.

– Working from corporate offices with functional responsibility for simultaneous coordination/working/managing multiple projects is desirable.

– Working knowledge of using and interpreting Shell DEPs, International Codes/Standards (ASME, ASTM, NACE, AWS, API, BS, ISO) related to the job and industry. Sound welding and NDT knowledge is must.

Applicants must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering from an internationally recognised organisation or equivalent.
