The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
- Work together with Business and Product Owners to mature, design and implement new solutions with DevOps in mind.
- Contribute to detailed design and clarify issues in continuous dialog with developers and business.
- Capture business requirements and map business requirements to system solutions.
- Be responsible for application development lifecycle.
- Be involvement in architecture networks.
- Partcipate in application portfolio planning with enterprise architects.
FOS IT represents the IT technology muscle related to advisory, innovation, architecture, design, development and maintenance of about 600 IT solutions. We are supporting OMM (Operations, Maintenance and Modifications) areas of Equinor’s offshore and onshore facilities, including wind and solar.
We work with a variety of technologies, and our teams of IT business analysts, IT architects and software developers are widely recognized for combining domain- and IT knowledge within the OMM and PD areas. Being a part of FOS IT, means you will be able to work on a widespread set of tasks directly related to Equinor’s efficiency improvement agenda. Moving onwards, a large portion of the Company’s improvement potential is expected to be released within the Facility areas, not least in the context of Industry 4.0. We are and will continue to be playing an important role in Equinor’s improvement agenda. Consequently, FOS IT will face more complex and challenging tasks and an even higher innovation pace going forward.
You

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Computer Science or similar.
- 5 years+ broad experience and technical knowledge in a variety of programming languages, system architectures, software development techniques, systems design and patterns.
- Communication skills to discuss technical information with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Leadership abilities to support teams in developing and implementing software.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken, Norwegian would be beneficial.
