The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

• Take the lead in delivering the future of Energy IT solutions, IT architecture and integration across IT, Operational Technology and business areas.
• Establish Product Strategy, and vision planning with Business Solution Owners and Technology Product Manager.
• Participate in Application Portfolio planning with Enterprise Architects.
• Be responsible for application development life cycle and drive optimization of work, methodology, process and framework with our vendors.
• Decide high level architecture and be involved in Architecture Networks.
• Build and grow both IT and business knowledge.
• Engage teams and drive key initiatives forward by setting technical direction.

You will be part of a large community of IT specialists and will be able to contribute to Equinor’s digitalisation journey. The activities and tasks we perform are typically related to IT architecture, analysis, operations, maintenance support and advisory. We are recognised as key enablers for numerous business improvement initiatives and are always heavily involved in energy technology projects like robotics, windfarms, oil and gas platforms and process plants. We deliver solutions and services related to plant data, e.g. through real-time historians, and support onshore and offshore oil & gas plants.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• 5+ years of experience with Software development and/or IT architecture work.
• Experience with SAP, Microservice, Open ID Connect and Identity Management would be beneficial.
• Experience within the functional area of Project Deliveries would be an advantage.
• Eagerness to bridge Equinor`s strategy to technology.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with others and take overall delivery responsibility.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral. Norwegian would be beneficial.
