Senior Electrical Engineer – Tampa Bay, FL
Location: Tampa Bay, FL
Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you’ll lead design efforts, collaborate with clients, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality electrical documentation across multiple design-build projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects, balancing client needs and budgets.
- Oversee project phases from bidding to construction.
- Conduct efficiency reviews and suggest improvements.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and models.
- Provide guidance and support to team members.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of electrical design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CADD experience is a plus.
