Sr. Quality Engineer

Airswift is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to work in a permanent contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Focal point of a project or corporate for all matters related to quality planning, quality control and quality assurance, providing a support function for project or corporate management and ensuring sufficient resources to exercise the quality function in the project or corporate development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Involvement in all quality issues, providing support to the project and/or corporate team;
  • Promotes the use of professional quality tools, in addition to their principles and objectives;
  • Aligns the project or corporate plan, objectives and systems with the company’s requirements;
  •  Supports the leadership in implementing the quality management system;
  •  Responsible for defining quality guidelines for suppliers;
  •  Responsible for preparing, managing and delivering the Project Quality Plan;
  • Participates in the assessment of aspects associated with supplier quality in SCM processes;
  • Supports supplier qualification;
  • Supervises, coordinates and monitors quality performance in projects;
  •  Monitors the manufacture of equipment and its respective tests to ensure its quality;
  •  Carries out internal audits, checking the quality standards of the company’s management system;
  • Monitors external audits and disseminates the results internally;
  • Monitors the requirements necessary to maintain ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification;
  • Supervises the work of inspectors;
  • Promotes the use and sharing of lessons learned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Graduation in Engineering, Economics or Administration.
  •   Fluent English
  •  Computer skills (Office Package);
  •  Specialization courses in the field;
  •  Specific courses and knowledge:
  •  Qualified lead auditor desirable.
