About the role:
Structural designer and modeler shall be responsible for designing structural, outfitting and general drawings of ships and offshore structures including jackets, FPSOs, Jackups etc. Job profile includes,

• 3D modelling of ship structure and outfitting using 3D Design tools (Tekla),
• Extraction and preparation of 2D drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, weld plans, nesting etc.
• Preparation of layout drawings in 2D Cad tools.
• Drafting of structural drawings directly in Cad tools

Responsibilities:

• Should be well versed in design of offshore/marine/subsea structures, yard fabrication, welding, steel materials and grades, construction procedures and requirements
• Should have experience in structural design, of ships and offshore floating/fixed structures
• Should be proficient in drafting, good communication skills and multitasking capability

Candidate requirements:

• BTech (Civil, Structural, Mech, Naval Arch)
• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Shipbuilding
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
