Role and Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering and procurement activities related to assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, quality assurance, and quality control policies.
- Collaborate daily with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and represent their requirements in the field.
- Conduct overall quality control of project work, including budget, schedule adherence, and personnel performance, providing regular project status reports.
- Work closely with the Package Delivery Manager and project team members to offer technical support and assistance.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and communicate potential scope variations, risks, and opportunities to clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong skills in workload management and leadership.
- Proficiency in design and softwares such asAutoCAD.
- Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrate leadership and take decisive decisions.
- Current engineering license (if applicable).
- Understanding of company products and services.
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
- Candidates must have legal authorisation to work and reside in the country without requiring sponsorship.
