Our summer internship is a 7-weeks programme designed to provide the experience and skills you need in your studies and future career. Our Norwegian internship will begin on 23 June and ends on 8 August 2025.

The position

Safety is our first priority and working in Safety Security and Sustainability means being part of a highly skilled and professional global network at Equinor. When joining our team in Safety and Sustainability you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Contributing to technology development, digitalization and innovation

 We are looking for summer interns who are collaborators, eager to learn and have an analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.

You

For this position we are looking for those with:
• Currently studying for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record within a wide range of relevant areas such as leadership, technical, social, economic, safety, energy, process, sustainability, chemical, sustainability, risk, environmental, technology, digitalization, innovation, petroleum, renewables, marine, biological, legal, working environment, communication, psychology etc.
• Fluent in English.
• No more than two years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (23 June 2025).
• Have at least one year of higher education left after the internship programme ends (8 August 2025).
• The interns need to be located in the country where the internship takes place during its entire duration. Equinor does not support any relocation for our summer interns.
• Candidates must have the necessary work permit for the country in which they are applying for a position. The work permits must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the employment. Please note that Equinor does not support, or sponsor work or visa permits for internship applications. Read more about it on the national authorities’ pages: Norway
• Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage.
