Oversee and manage procurement activities associated related with Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) contracts, and well engineering contracts of an offshore operated project currently in the Pre-Front End Engineering Design (Pre-FEED) stage, in close collaboration with the Project Manager, the engineering team and other stakeholders. Additionally, ensure that procurement processes are aligned with project timelines, budgetary constraints, quality standards, Internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
• Develop comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, potential development concepts, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers and vendors and lead the negotiation of key contracts and agreements to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, project-specific requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance to ensure adherence to technical and budgetary constraints.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
• Provide procurement support to other projects within the company as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CPM) is a plus
  • Proven experience in managing procurement activities for large-scale offshore projects, including FEED and EPCI contracts, rigs contracts and well engineering contracts within the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years focused on offshore development projects.
  •  Experience working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment. 
  • In-depth understanding of FEED and EPCI contract structures and requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling rig, well engineering material and services contracts
  • Strong understanding of offshore project requirements and challenges (in particular in North America / Mexico).
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage and motive a team.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic project environment.
