- Work closely with Project Procurement Leader and the Engineering Team while being responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement activities associated with Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) contracts. The objective of this role is to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services necessary for the successful execution of the project.
- Develop and manage FEED and EPCI contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards and budgets.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and contractors to secure advantageous and favorable contract conditions.
- Create and implement procurement plans -and strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets
- Source and facilitate prequalification of potential suppliers and subcontractors for quality, reliability, sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and issue Tenders, Request for Proposals (RfPs), Request for Quotations (RfQs), and Purchase Orders (POs) as needed.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors, including manage and resolve contractual claims, ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with contract provisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Monitor procurement expenditures to ensure alignment with project budgets
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing FEED and EPCI contracts within the oil and gas or marine industry.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years focused on offshore development projects.
- Deep understanding of FEED and EPCI contract structures and requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in offshore development.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
