Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of TAR Coordinator, based in Aberdeen, this is a PAYE contract position for 12 months to support the planned shutdown for their asset next year.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the screening of all work inputs submitted in scope gathering phase and ensure they meet the criteria for inclusion in the turnaround.
* Create and maintain the integrated turnaround worklist and ensure that the content reflects the turnaround objectives, level of readiness and provide summaries of status to the TAR Team Lead.
* Responsible for the preparation and collation of all documentation required to execute the work offshore e.g. permits, risk assessments, lifting plans, COSHH, etc.
* Develops and Co-ordinates complex set of planning and preparation activities following a milestone schedule. Ensure the milestone schedule and TAR plan covers all key major business objectives that must be addressed within the TAR and activities are free of conflict (SIMOPS).
* Builds close, effective working relationships with functional teams in such areas as: Offshore Operations, Maintenance, Facilities Engineering, Subsea and Asset Integrity.
* Conduct initial review of any submitted Late TAR Requests (LTRs) working with the relevant disciplines to understand readiness and the impact of accepting the work into the plan.
* Undertake reviews of all engineering / vendor work packs and ensure these are completed in line with the IMPACT schedule.
* Provide an additional level of quality control to the engineering/capital project/ vendor work packs to ensure the work is understood and any support activities (pre-TAR work, Scaffolding/ Core crew support) are defined and planned for.
* Responsible for development of leak reduction (flange break register) for the turnaround.
* Mobilise offshore during the execution phase to lead delivery of the Turnaround. Ensure full communication of progress reporting to all stakeholders. Integrate into the Offshore Team to achieve turnaround objectives.
Requirements:
* Proven competency of turnaround planning and execution activities.
* Demonstrated ability to perform tactical planning.
* Must have strong understanding of implementing and managing HES.
* Strong problem-solving skills are essential, Self -motivator and ability to motivate others.
* Good communication and influencing skills with proven ability to foster positive teamwork and collaboration.
* Demonstrated knowledge of offshore plant and systems. Understanding of offshore work practices and engineering disciplines.
* Demonstrated maintenance, construction or operational experience in the oil and gas industry.
* Proficient in use of CMMS systems, SAP preferred.
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Basic understanding of Primavera P6.
* Technical proficiency in IT programs and drawing mark-up packages (Bluebeam).
