The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform ongoing review and research of tax laws, court decisions, and administrative pronouncements to ensure the company’s compliance and finding opportunities for tax efficiency.
  • Provide support for corporate tax projects and processes as needed.
  • Assist with analysis of tax notices/audits, researching, and drafting responses to the governmental agencies/tax authorities.
  • Assist with external accounting auditors requests.
  • Prepare direct tax calculation and returns (including transfer pricing).
  • Assist with preparation and filing of Government Take obligations for oil and gas industry (namely Royalties and “Participação Especial”).
  • Perform country tax quarterly reporting.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Accounting or Administration.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Understand the concepts of journal entries and reconciliation of direct tax accounts (assets, liabilities, and P&L).
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to utilize other technology resources.
  • Experience with internal controls – SOX.
  • English communication skills in fluent level.
  • SAP experience is a differential.
