About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Team Leader Scheduling to join Santos’ EAPNG Maintenance Services team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Maintenance Services Manager, this role is responsible for delivering continuous improvement and standardisation across the onshore maintenance Scheduling team. Working closely with Maintenance Support, Reliability, Integrity and Maintenance Execution, this role will also provide technical support to the onshore maintenance team for process standardisation and project implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive scheduling teams deliverables within OE maintenance process.
- Embed scheduling processes with stakeholders
- Monitor, control and reduce costs where possible in line with other accountabilities.
- Actively work with stakeholders to optimise strategies for optimal serviceability of plant & equipment to ensure reliable operation in the most economical and cost-effective manner
- Lead team to achieve optimal resource utilisation via loading to agreed values and geographical campaigns
- Drive accountability for scheduling involvement in the delivery of Maintenance compliance metric KPI’s
- Reporting and analytics of Maintenance KPI’s along with identification and implementation of improvement opportunities
- Support change initiatives across the business units to ensure a smooth transition
- Actively work with Planning and Scheduling leads and Execution leads to maintain and enhance business processes within the maintenance function
- Ensure appropriate workforce planning, talent attraction and development, and resource deployment to ensure business delivery and employee development needs are met.
- Perform all other reasonable duties as requested by the Planning and Scheduling Team Leader
About You
Holding a Tertiary and/or relevant work/industry experience in technical area as well as a Trade Certificate Qualification – Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation (not mandatory but preferred), the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:
- Extensive gas process or production operations experience in plant or field
- Maintenance business process experience with strong CMMS knowledge.
- SAP, P6, Prometheus or alternative scheduling software
- Extensive Scheduling process knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, high initiative and adaptability
- Leadership and communication skills
- Technical and professional knowledge and skills required for the role
- Planning and organisational skills
