Job Duties and Qualifications

Under broad direction, pursues and acquires sales of the Company&aposs products and equipment to third-party customers on a global basis. Works with Proposals Group to create bid packages. Works with Energy Services Group (ESG) country Business Development personnel to identify markets and potential direct sales opportunities. Establishes key customer clients, building and maintaining lasting business relationships in support of the global Direct Sales business. Maximizes the profitability of the client and Halliburton through matching our technical and operational capability to meet the client&aposs need. Liaises with Direct Sales Manager for pricing proposals. Initiates and reviews customer proposals with Proposal Specialists. Provides first interface for technology transfer to the customer and communicates multi-PSL technical information. Makes customer presentations. Job role contributes directly to value creation via personal contributions. Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering or similar discipline and 8-10 years of equipment design and manufactuirng or operations experience which includes experience in sales/marketing. This position is considered the technical sales specialist for Direct Sales in the application of product, equipment and solutions for an assigned PSL.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Job Description:

  • Responsible for new business development, sales enablement for Landmark’s business across Asia Pacific
  • Client facing geomodelling technical expert, skilled at communicating value propositions of Landmark software and solutions for subsurface technologies and solutions
  • Typical tasks include but not limited to technical presentations, proposal writing, delivering proof of value studies for clients, industry event involvement etc.
  • Co-ordinating pre sales activity across all countries in Asia Pacific. Providing direction to country teams on technical and sales strategy.

Essential Skills/Requirements

  • Geomodelling domain experience and expertise, including software experience
  • Geoscience degree
  • More than 10 years of geoscience related experience with at least 5+ years of geomodelling experience
  • Clear communication and technical writing, presentation skills

 
Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 10+ years of Experience with operator or service provider working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Technical Sales Experience
  • Experience leading presales and/or multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Awareness and interest in cloud technologies, digital solutions, data science skills are an added bonus
