Job Title: Technical Safety Engineer
Location : London or Paris

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Lead Technical Safety Engineer to oversee safety engineering during a major oil and gas project’s FEED phase, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project documentation, safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL), and hazard analyses.
• Oversee fire and gas systems, firewater hydraulics, and safety equipment design.
• Ensure HSE standards are implemented in design and vendor documentation.
• Participate in risk analysis and prepare documentation for safety reviews.

Requirements:

• Experience: 15+ years in technical safety, 10+ years in major projects.
• Qualifications: Relevant engineering discipline.
• Skills: Expertise in risk management, HSE standards, and process safety.
• Language: Fluent in English.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Start Date: ASAP.
• Location: Paris or London during FEED; potential relocation thereafter.
