Job Description:

Our client seeking a highly skilled Turbine Plant Engineer to support their existing operations. This is an exciting international opportunity for a motivated professional to join their team and make a significant impact on their plant’s performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Turbine Plant Owner / Custodian
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and execution / coordination of actions
  • Project execution or coordination for plant modifications
  • Defining and updating maintenance requirements and specifications (including Outage Philosophies)
  • Performance optimization to improve heat rate, integrity, and reliability
  • Internal Training: Develop and present training sessions to appropriate personnel on-site, covering both awareness and advanced levels
  • Planned and Opportunity Outage Scoping
  • Developing plant-specific procedures, standards, and policies for relevant equipment
  • Completing the Management of Change (MOC) process for modifications, including updating control philosophies, drawings, and maintenance strategies
  • Identifying critical spares and planning for obsolete spares

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • BEng / BSc Mechanical Engineer with  experience in energy sector or related experience on Turbine’s is a must.
  • 2+ years’ experience as Steam Turbine Engineer
  • Fluent in English/French advantageous
